AmeriCorps
We are collaborating with AmeriCorps to produce peer-reviewed research and policy reports that can be used by nonprofit organizations and young people. Our research aligns with AmeriCorps' funding priorities, which include understanding civic engagement and infrastructure. Our findings will help AmeriCorps understand more about civic access and opportunity for young people in the Heartland of the United States, which will ultimately aid in recruitment and retention efforts for AmeriCorps-sponsored programs.

UNO is Nebraska's metropolitan university — a university with strong academic values and significant relationships with our community that transforms and improves the lives of those on a local, regional, national, and international level. Students at UNO will work as research assistants to assist and carry out interviews, recruitment, and other tasks assigned by Dr. Jodi Benenson, the research supervisor and project Principal Investigator.
